Great site ! Gave me a few directions to follow while tracing the McDonald side of my family.
One road block is around a Bryan McDonald" born in, i think, Swebeck Canada around 1893+/-. I have the rest of his history to share.

I had a DNA test done about a year ago with Familytree.com and my DNA matched many McDonald DNA. One has a paper trail back to Bryan McDonald, B. 1645 Ireland d. 1707 Pa.

I am Brian McDonald, live in Indianapolis IN, my father Keith McDonald from Indianapolis, Grandfather Emmett Mcdonald 1915 had a sister Ellenor their dad GG father Harley E McDonald 1893 Clay County Indiana -1955 Indianapolis IN he had 8 brothers and sisters. Fred 1874, Mae 1876 Berton 1879, Jessie w 1882, Willie Lived 5 mo 1886, Sethie lived 1 1/2 1887-1889 Bertha L 1889 Earnest B 1897. Their dad ggg father Albert H McDonald 1852 Rhode Island - 1916 Fontanet Terre Haute, IN had a sister Francis P 1855. Their dad gggg father Henry McDonald April 1825 Johnson, Rhode Island. I also dug up an Anthony McDonald ??? from Scotland..Albert McDonald may have had more siblings???
